When you order through WhatsApp, we may receive the phone number, profile name, messages, and order information you send through that channel. We use personal information to create and manage accounts, process and deliver orders, communicate about orders and support, connect customers with vendors and riders, prevent fraud and keep the Services secure, improve our products and operations, meet legal obligations, and send service-related updates. 5. WhatsApp and messaging
If you choose to contact or order from useMarket on WhatsApp, your conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms. We use the information in that conversation to respond to you, create or update your order, provide support, and improve the ordering experience. We do not sell WhatsApp message content.
6. Payments
Payments are processed through approved payment providers. useMarket does not intentionally store full card details. We may retain payment confirmations, transaction references, and related records to process your order, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal requirements.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, resolve issues, maintain required records, and comply with law. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
